Karina Damgaard

Karina Damgaard is a seasoned professional in project management with extensive experience in environmental assessments and climate adaptation initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Projektleder at COWI since October 2025, Karina previously held the role of Projektchef at Ramboll focusing on authority and environmental aspects related to water and climate adaptation from October 2023 to October 2025. Prior to that, Karina was the Projektleder for the Fælles Vandressourcecenter Roskilde Fjord at Novafos from June 2021 to September 2023 and worked at Ramboll from March 2008 to May 2021 as a cand.techn.soc. and project leader specializing in environmental assessments and industrial environments. Karina's career began at the Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries and Vestsjællands Amt, contributing to planning and VVM (environmental impact assessments). Karina holds a master’s degree in Environmental, Technology and Society from Roskilde University, along with training from Gestaltterapeutisk Institut.
