Rodger Welch has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Rodger began their career as a Project Engineer at Canron Western Bridge in 1982 and later worked as a Project Engineer at Dominion Bridge in 1987. In 1986, Rodger briefly worked as a Project Engineer at Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd.
In 1990, they joined Buckland & Taylor Ltd as a Bridge Engineer and remained in that position until 1999. Rodger then transitioned to the role of Senior Bridge Engineer and Project Manager at the same company from 2000 to 2010. Rodger continued their career at Buckland & Taylor Ltd, becoming Vice President in 2011 and serving in that role until 2014.
Rodger Welch joined COWI North America in 2016 as Vice President of Operations for COWI Bridge. In 2018, they were promoted to Vice President and Project Director, a position that they currently hold.
