Gururaj B S has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Gururaj started their career as a Student Intern at Datami, where they collaborated in the development of a mobile application. During their time at Datami, Gururaj overhauled legacy source code, improving usability and reducing run time performance by 50%.

After their internship, Gururaj worked as a Junior Android Developer at LivWell - Move. Burn. Earn. Repeat. for a year, where they gained hands-on experience in Android development.

In 2021, Gururaj joined Vistaar Financial Services Pvt Ltd as a Mobile Application Developer. Gururaj played a key role in revamping and restructuring the existing Android application into Flutter using provider state management. Additionally, Gururaj mentored a team of 4 interns, guiding them in Android and basic programming concepts.

Currently, Gururaj is working as an Android Developer at COWRKS. Gururaj has been involved in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to system implementation. Gururaj has contributed to the development of various features, such as implementing native camerax API for custom camera, QR code, and barcode scanner. Gururaj also implemented a social feeds section to handle multiple video and image uploads and display using exoplayer, ultimately saving a fraction of revenue per month through in-house feature development.

Gururaj B S completed their Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree in Computer Science from New shores international college, spanning from 2015 to 2018. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Science from Bangalore Institute of Technology, from 2018 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Gururaj has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. Gururaj completed courses such as "HTML Essential Training," "Programming Foundations: Databases," "Programming Foundations: Fundamentals," and "Succeeding in Web Development: Full Stack and Front End" through LinkedIn in August 2020. Gururaj also completed "Applied Data Science with Python - Level 2," "Data Analysis using Python," and "Data Visualization using Python" through IBM in May 2020. Moreover, they obtained certification in the "SSC NASSCOM Foundation AI curriculum" from the Open edX Community in May 2020. Additionally, they completed a course titled "What is Data Science?" through Coursera in May 2020. Prior to these certifications, Gururaj acquired proficiency in Android Application Development through a program offered by Edureka in December 2017.
