Peter Awin

Peter Awin has a long history of working in the tech industry. In 2010, they founded and served as the CEO of Afrilead Institute, a talent development organization that specializes in supporting SMEs to attract talent. In 2016, they co-founded Cowtribe, Africa's first on-demand animal vaccine delivery service provider. Peter served as the CEO of Cowtribe, leveraging mobile technology and cloud based computing to accurately forecast demand for vaccines from farmers while connecting them to providers for timely and reliable service delivery. In 2019, they became an Ashoka Fellow.

Peter Awin has a diverse educational background. Peter began their studies in 1999 at St. Charles Minor Seminary, where they earned their SSCE in General Arts in 2002. Peter then attended the University for Development Studies from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a BA in Development Studies. Most recently, they have been studying at the University of Ghana, where they are currently pursuing an Msc in International Business.
