Jon Lumsden

Jon Lumsden has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Jon started their career at KPMG as an Assistant Manager from 2005 to 2007. Jon then joined Vp plc as an Assistant Group Financial Controller from 2007 to 2010. Following that, they worked at Manheim Europe where they held various positions including Finance Manager, Head of Financial Accounting and Reporting, Head of Finance - Group, and finally as Head of Financial Strategy & Planning from 2010 to 2015. Currently, Jon is employed at Cox Automotive Europe, where they have held positions such as Head of Finance - Car Buying, Logistics and Technology, Finance Director - Group Accounting & Assurance, and currently as the Group Finance Director since March 2020.

Jon Lumsden attended Ermysted's Grammar School in Skipton from 1990 to 1997, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this time. From 1997 to 2000, they studied Accountancy at Newcastle University, earning a degree with a 2.2 classification. After completing their university education, Jon obtained additional certifications. In 2003, they received the ACA qualification from the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). Later, in June 2012, they earned the AMCT Diploma in Treasury from the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
