Jonathan Smoke

Jonathan Smoke serves as the Chief Economist at Cox Automotive Inc. since April 2017, having previously held the same title at realtor.com and Hanley Wood. At realtor.com, responsibilities included translating real estate data into consumer and industry insights while representing the company at various media and industry events. Jonathan's experience at Hanley Wood encompassed leading national research functions and data products, particularly for the building product manufacturing channel, as well as overseeing market intelligence and research initiatives. Earlier roles included leadership positions in corporate strategy at Beazer Homes, consulting at Deloitte, and a background in housing market research as founder of BlueSmoke, LLC. Jonathan Smoke holds an MBA from Texas McCombs School of Business and a BA in Economics and Religious Studies from Rhodes College.
