Lucy Smith

Lucy Gaines Smith has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Assistant General Counsel for Integration Strategy at Cox Automotive Inc., following roles as Sr. Corporate Counsel and Corporate Counsel in the same department. Prior to their tenure at Cox Automotive, Lucy gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant to Professor Stephanie Wildman and as a Law Student at Santa Clara University. Additional legal experience includes internships at the Redwood City City Attorney's Office and White Law Trust. Earlier in their career, Lucy worked as a Sr. Paralegal and Contracts Administrator at BT Conferencing. Lucy holds a law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tufts University.
