Jeff Breaux

EVP, Cox Business at Cox Communications

Jeff Breaux is executive vice president of Cox Business. In this role, Breaux is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s largest growth division with almost $3 billion in annual revenue. He oversees all facets of Cox’s growing commercial solutions portfolio, including sales, operations, customer experience, product development and marketing for business customers, wholesale services for telecom carriers, as well as investment and acquisition of related B2B adjacent businesses.

Breaux has 35 years of experience in the telecom and IT industry, in various leadership capacities. Prior to being promoted to this role, Breaux served as senior vice president of sales for Cox Business, leading B2B direct retail and partner sales as well as sales support and field service delivery. When Breaux joined Cox Business in 2014, he led sales strategy, sales support, and fulfilment for Cox Business’ Western commercial markets and the Las Vegas-based Hospitality Network organization, one of the nation’s largest custom integrators for visitor experiences supporting traditional hospitality, stadiums/venues, and convention centers.

Prior to joining Cox Business, Breaux held several business-to-business leadership positions with Sprint Corporation, across Texas, the southeastern and midwestern U.S. He started his professional career as a Member of Technical Staff with Bell Communications Research (BellCore, now Telcordia) in Livingston, N.J.

Breaux is a member of Cox Communications’ National Diversity and Inclusion Council. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University. He was also selected to participate in CTAM University at Harvard Business School. Breaux resides in the Atlanta area with his wife Robin, and they have three adult children: Madison, Morgan and son-in-law Zachery.
