Sara Barnhart

Sara Barnhart serves as the Assistant General Counsel for Commercial Operations at Cox Enterprises, where responsibilities include providing strategic legal support for various operating businesses in media, eSports, environmental sustainability, agriculture, and cleantech. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Counsel and Attorney at Cox Enterprises and Cox Communications, focusing on marketing, compliance, and legal integration for newly acquired businesses. Sara has also held positions at Brambles, NCR Corporation, and several law firms, offering legal counsel across commercial law, marketing, and intellectual property. In addition, Sara is an Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University College of Law, teaching Media and Communications Law. Sara holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Human Rights & Globalization from The University of Georgia.
