Shelly Chummar

Shelly Chummar is a committed professional currently serving as a Member Services Coordinator at World 50 since June 2023 and as a Team Development Coordinator at VAW Global Health Alliances since August 2019. At VAW Global Health Alliances, Shelly recruits and trains university Team Leaders for international service teams while innovating practices for organizational continuity. Additional roles include being an Orientation Leader at The University of Georgia, supporting incoming students, and serving as the Treasurer for the Student Government Association, managing budgets and enhancing student life. As a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, Shelly has advanced diversity and inclusion initiatives and managed funds for educational seminars. Involvement with UGA Miracle, a philanthropic organization for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, includes fundraising efforts yielding over $3 million. Shelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a certificate from the Institute for Leadership Advancement at the University of Georgia.
