David Pitzel

David Pitzel is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in managing infrastructure and technology services. At Cox Media Group since January 2009, David has held multiple leadership roles, including Executive Director of Technology Services, where responsibilities include overseeing cloud and local computing infrastructure, data and voice networks, and security architecture. Prior to this, David served as Senior Director of Technology Services & Operations, where a significant achievement was migrating services to public cloud solutions. Previous roles at Cox Radio, ICTS, Delta Air Lines, and Dittler Brothers highlight a diverse background in information technology, network engineering, and vendor management. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Politics from Washington and Lee University and has participated in the Cox Media Group Leadership Program.
