Becca Fago

Director Of Aquarium at Cox Science Center and Aquarium

Becca Fago has a diverse work experience in the field of aquariums and marine life. Becca started their career in 2005 as an Aquarist at Coral World Ocean Park, where they gained experience in caring for aquatic animals. In 2008, they moved on to Sea World and worked as an Animal Trainer for two years. In 2010, they joined Cox Science Center and Aquarium as the Director of Aquarium. After a short tenure there, Becca transitioned to the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, where they held multiple roles. Becca started as a Senior Aquarist and then moved on to become the Aquarium Curator. Ultimately, they became the Director of Aquarium, a position they held until their most recent work experience. Overall, Becca Fago has demonstrated their expertise in aquarium management and has progressively taken on more responsibility throughout their career.

Becca Fago attended the University at Albany from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in Biology with a focus on Biology/Biological Sciences in general. Becca also studied Music during their time at the university. Prior to their enrollment at the University at Albany, Becca Fago attended Berklee College from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Songwriting and Performance. Additionally, Becca holds a PADI Certified Rescue Diver certification and is a CPR and First Aid Instructor.
