Maria Castro Hormigo

Maria Castro Hormigo is an experienced technical manager with a strong background in civil engineering and project coordination. Currently serving as Responsable técnico at GHENOVA Energy since October 2023, Maria has held a similar role at Abengoa since June 2016, overseeing the civil discipline for the Waste to Fuel Fulcrum project, the first biocombustible refinery from municipal solid waste in the USA. Previous experience includes coordination of concrete buildings at Abengoa and project management positions focused on BIM methodologies at Inmobiliaria Manquehue and COZ y Compañía. Maria began their career as an architect at EDDEA, developing basic and execution projects. Educational qualifications include a degree in Architecture from Universidad de Sevilla, a Master's in BIM from Universidad de Chile, and an expert course in Integrated Project Management from Instituto de Estudios Cajasol.
