Alan Butler

Alan Butler is currently working as System Director Public Safety & Security at CoxHealth since February 2021. Prior to this, Alan worked at HSS from October 2008 to January 2021, holding the positions of Vice President Healthcare Security, Director of Operations and Consulting. Alan also served as Director of Security at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics from August 2006 to September 2008, and as Director of Guest Services & Security at Medical City Dallas Hospital from January 2000 to September 2006. Alan holds a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, and an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Hudson Valley Community College.
