Cheryl Hertel

Cheryl Hertel, MBA, RN-BC, FACHE, CHCIO is currently the Chief Information Officer at CoxHealth. Prior to her current role, she held various positions at Cerner Corporation, including Vice President and Executive Director of CoxHealth Information Systems. Cheryl has a strong background in healthcare IT, with experience in software strategy, implementation, and business development both in the US and Europe/Middle East. Her nursing experience includes working as a Trauma/Cardiac Critical Care Nurse. She holds an MBA from University of Phoenix and a BSN from Fort Hays State University.
