Sydney Brooks

Sydney Brooks has been working in the Audio/Video broadcasting industry since 2013 when they began as a Sr. Design Engineer at CP Communications. Sydney is responsible for managing the design of communications, controls, and audio systems, writing software for microcontrollers, PLCs, DSP, PCs and single board computer projects, and developing mobile apps and web interfaces used for equipment configuration and monitoring. Prior to this, they held the role of Product Manager at Panasonic from 2000 to 2013. From 1992 to 2000, they were an MR Installation Engineer at Siemens Healthcare, where they managed service and installation on MRI systems, performed calibration and system commissioning, worked with super conductive magnets up to 1.5 Tesla, and worked with cryogenic and water cooling of the magnets.

Sydney Brooks obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology between 1986 and 1992. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
