Oscar Gonzalez

Oscar Gonzalez is an experienced research engineer currently working at CP Kelco since July 2022. Prior to this role, Oscar served as an associate scientist and SRA at Triton Algae Innovations from July 2015 to July 2022. Earlier positions include research associate and process development associate at BP from December 2010 to July 2015, and process development associate at Verenium for a short period in 2010. Oscar has a solid educational background with a Master of Biotechnology from California State University San Marcos (2017-2019) and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis (2006-2009). Expertise includes executing small-scale fermentations, developing operational SOPs for alternative fuel production, and conducting fermentation experiments with various fermentor sizes.
