Rick Telberg has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Rick founded CPA Trendlines Research in 2005 and served as the CEO, providing the latest research and analysis in the tax, accounting, and finance professions. Prior to this, they were the President and CEO of Bay Street Group LLC from 2004 onwards. Telberg also worked at the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants from 2001 to 2011, holding various roles such as Editor at Large, Director of Online Content, and Editorial Director. Here, they contributed to product strategy, authored weekly commentary, and oversaw the development of online content. From 2000 to 2001, Telberg held the position of Senior Editorial Director at Pro2Net, SmartPros, Kaplan Inc., where they were responsible for designing and implementing content strategy for international Internet websites.
Before that, Telberg served as Vice President, Group Publisher, and Editorial Director at Thomson Reuters (formerly SourceMedia, now Arizent) from 1993 to 2000. In this role, they planned and directed editorial operations for tax and accounting publications, overseeing budgeting and business strategy.
Prior to these positions, Telberg was the Executive Editor at Lebhar-Friedman from 1981 to 1991. Rick successfully launched a new publication in the professional services field and transformed a food-service industry publication to become the market leader. Rick started their career as a contributor at Dan's Papers in 1978.
