Alex Levine

Alex Levine, CPA, CA, currently serves as Principal, Accounting Standards and Sustainability Reporting at the Accounting Standards Board (AcSB) since January 2024. Levine has held prominent roles including Foundation Board Member and Vice Chair at CPA Manitoba since June 2020, and has been involved as a Facilitator, Mentor, and Volunteer at CPA Western School of Business since May 2016. Previous experience includes serving as Lead Principal (Associate Director) for Professional Programs, Sustainability at Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) from February 2021 to January 2024, and various financial and management accounting positions at Canada Life from January 2012 to February 2021. Levine has contributed as a Board Member for MedicAlert Foundation Canada, Finance Chair at Rady JCC, and holds educational credentials including a CA in Accounting from the Chartered Accountancy Western School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Marketing from the University of Manitoba. Additional educational involvement includes participation in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference.
