Marcus Remgård

Marcus Remgård has a range of work experiences in various roles and industries. Marcus currently works as an Android Engineer at CPAC Systems AB since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Swimbird AB also in 2022. Marcus completed their Bachelor's thesis titled "Stock price prediction with social media sentiment" at Handelshögskolan vid Göteborgs universitet from March 2022 to June 2022. Marcus also completed their Master's thesis titled "Towards artificially playing the game of double pong" at Volvo Group from January 2022 to June 2022. Before pursuing their higher education, Marcus worked as a Website Developer at Autocatsilver AB from June 2019 to August 2021. Marcus conducted a Bachelor's thesis on "Error correction of quantum bits for quantum computers" at Chalmers tekniska högskola from January 2020 to June 2020, where they developed and trained a DNN using pytorch and a Monte Carlo tree search (MCTS) algorithm. Marcus also has experience as a Carpenter at Nikkarit from April 2016 to June 2017, and as a Laboratory assistant at PK Plating Technology AB from June 2014 to August 2015.

Marcus Remgård earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology between 2017 and 2020. Prior to this, between 2012 and 2015, they attended Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet, where they completed the Natural Science Program. Subsequently, they pursued higher education again, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg from 2020 to 2022. Furthermore, during the same period, they also obtained a Master's degree in Physics from Chalmers University of Technology.
