Angela Oates has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Angela started their career as an Office Assistant at Creative Kids Learning Center in 2005, where they performed teaching and administrative tasks. Angela then worked as a Corrections Officer at Nevada Department of Corrections, where they supervised inmates and handled administrative duties. Angela also worked as a Substitute Teacher at Creative Kids Learning Center and as a Teaching Assistant at Kids R Kids.

In 2011, Angela joined 24 Hour Corporation as a Property Inspector, where they conducted property inspections. Angela then joined cPanel in 2012 as a Technical Analyst, providing support for the cPanel product and assisting customers with any issues. Angela later took on the role of ScrumMaster, facilitating the needs of development teams and driving organizational changes. Currently, they are a Technical Support Quality Assurance Analyst at cPanel.

Angela Oates completed their primary education at the College of Southern Nevada from 2001 to 2006, majoring in Primary Education. Angela then pursued further education at Houston Community College between 2013 and 2015, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree with a field of study in General Studies. In addition to their formal education, Angela also obtained two additional certifications. In June 2012, they received a certification in Computer Science 101 from Coursera, and in February 2014, they obtained a ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance.
