John Bainbridge

John Bainbridge is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in civil and structural engineering, project management, and construction. Currently serving as an Area Manager at CPB Contractors since November 2018, John is responsible for the erection of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and Static Sign gantries on the West Gate Tunnel Project. Previously held roles include Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer at CPB Contractors, where John managed significant infrastructure projects in the water industry and participated in various civil engineering tasks. John has also worked as a Project Engineer at WBHO Infrastructure and held multiple engineering roles at Rio Tinto as part of the Graduate Program, including Site Project Engineer and Planning Engineer, gaining comprehensive exposure to large-scale project delivery and operations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma of Mining Engineering from Curtin University.
