Arjan Lejour is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently serving as the Head of Department at the Fiscal Institute Tilburg, Arjan also holds positions as a member of the scientific council of the Wim Drees Fund at Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen and as a CESifo fellow. Since 1996, Arjan has been affiliated with Centraal Planbureau, where responsibilities have included managing research programs in taxation, social insurance, globalization, and European analysis. Arjan is a full professor at Tilburg University, with a focus on international business taxation and public finance, and has held teaching roles at various institutions including Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Economics from Tilburg University and a Master's degree in Economics and Philosophy from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
