Erwin Zijleman

Erwin Zijleman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Erwin currently serves as the Head of Information Technology, Software Development, and Information Management at CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Head of Information Technology and Research Support unit at CPB and Software scientist at the same organization. Erwin also worked as an Information Analyst at CPB before transitioning into software development and management roles.

Outside of their work at CPB, Erwin has pursued various interests. Erwin worked as an Editor and Writer for the music blog "De krenten uit de pop" and served as a Member of the Participation Council at Stedelijk Gymnasium Leiden and Chairman of the Participation Council at Lorentzschool Leiden. Erwin also held positions in the music industry, serving as an Editor for VelvetMusic.NL and Plato.NL newsletters, as well as a Writer for PlatoMania. Additionally, they were a Member of WordPerfect/Corel Beta Squad and a Writer for IDG Books.

Erwin Zijleman attended Wessel Gansfort College from 1976 to 1982, where they completed their Atheneum degree. Erwin then pursued higher education at Leiden University from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Drs. degree in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology. Erwin Zijleman also holds additional certifications, including "Inzicht in Invloed" from Bureau Zuidema and "Lean Black Belt" from Symbol.
