Francis Weyzig is a highly experienced professional in the field of economics and development studies, currently serving as Programme Leader Tax at CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis since January 2020. Prior roles include Senior Policy Advisor at Oxfam Novib, Independent Consultant for Francis Weyzig Research & Advice, and Research Manager for Sustainable Finance at Universiteit Utrecht. Francis has also contributed as Chair of the European Steering Committee at Tax Justice Network, Policy Advisor on Financial Stability at De Nederlandsche Bank, and Researcher at the Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations (SOMO). An academic background includes a PhD in Development Studies from Radboud University and an MSc in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, complemented by a BA & MA in Development Studies and a cum laude Propedeuse in Physics.
