Eugênia Phegan

Eugênia Phegan is an experienced chemical engineer specializing in mineral processing and sustainability. Currently serving as a Process Manager at CPC Engineering since December 2022 and a College Member at the Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia since March 2023, Eugênia has held various managerial and engineering roles at leading companies including BG&E Resources, Worley, and Wave International Pty Ltd. Previously, Eugênia worked at Alcoa for eight years, advancing through positions such as Raw Materials Manager and Sourcing Specialist, focusing on global procurement and contract management. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from Curtin University, a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Valuation from USP/Esalq, and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Campina Grande.
