Samiksha Shakya

Samiksha Shakya is an experienced professional in sustainability and environmental management, currently serving as a Product Officer at CDP since March 2021. Prior experience includes working as an EHS & Sustainability Coordinator Intern at Dow, where significant contributions were made to projects like the Dow Sustainability Academy, focusing on carbon footprint assessments and EHS compliance. As Co-Founder of MYCOS, Samiksha played a role in developing business models during an innovation bootcamp. Additional experience includes research assistance at DBFZ on biomethane production technologies and serving as an Environmental Engineer at Ambuja Cements Ltd, where environmental performance and compliance were monitored. Early career endeavors included a summer internship at ISRO analyzing urban heat effects. Academic qualifications comprise a Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, an MBA in International Management of Resources and Environment from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, and an M.Tech. in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from IIT Dhanbad.
