Deo Cabillan has a diverse work experience in the field of urban planning and architecture. From 2003 to 2004, they worked as an apprentice at Francisco Manosa and Partners. Deo then worked as a project architect at HBO+EMTB Manila from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2012, they served as a senior architectural associate at Surbana Jurong Private Limited. In 2012, they became an assistant director at The Centre for Liveable Cities until 2014. Deo then held the position of Vice President - Urban Planning at CPG Corporation. In 2020, they worked as a lecturer at the National University of Singapore in the Department of Real Estate. In 2023, they became an adjunct lecturer at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
Deo Cabillan completed a Master's degree in Urban Design from the National University of Singapore from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of the Philippines, studying from 1998 to 2003.
