Michael Deichmann Plesner is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainability and renewable energy. Currently serving as Co-founder and Director at CPH Village since November 2014, Plesner focuses on providing housing and community services for students in Copenhagen. Previously, Plesner coordinated the UN Climate Conferences for Energy Crossroads Denmark from 2007 to 2015, facilitating young people's participation in pivotal climate discussions while also holding roles as President and Co-founder of an international network promoting sustainable energy. Plesner has held leadership positions at the Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy and the Europe-China Youth Leaders Forum Foundation, driving initiatives in renewable energy education and international dialogue on climate issues. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and advanced certifications in project management, carbon finance, and sustainability from prestigious institutions such as Stanford, Toronto, Harvard, and Oxford.
