Scott Baker

Scott Baker, CPA and MBA, currently serves as Vice President at CPI Card Group, specializing in Instant Issuance since May 2018, and previously held the role of Director of Finance and Operations. With over 20 years in the payments market, Baker has played a key role in delivering high-quality payment card services. Prior to CPI Card Group, Baker was an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Belmont University, teaching accounting principles, and spent 25 years at LifeWay Christian Resources, where significant contributions included financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning, ultimately leading to a $1 million annual cost reduction. Baker also held various finance-related positions at SunTrust, with a focus on financial analysis and management accounting. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
