Jay Tailor is a highly experienced product engineer with a strong background in mechanical design across various industries, including aerospace, power generation, and petrochemicals. Currently employed at Compressor Products International since October 2014, Jay leads cross-functional teams in the compressor lubrication business unit, focusing on new product design and hands-on testing of hydraulic systems. Previous roles include mechanical design engineering positions at Freeman and Curiel Engineers, Ecodyne Heat Exchangers, Donaldson, MDS Aero Support, Cenco, Inc., and AP Engineering, where Jay contributed to the design and compliance of complex mechanical systems and processes. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
