Sir Mahesh Patel

Sir Mahesh Patel, OBE, is a distinguished entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience across various sectors. As the Founder and Non-Executive Director of CPL Group since May 1987, Mahesh has played a pivotal role in the company's growth, previously serving as Managing Director and Chairman. In addition to contributions to CPL Group, Mahesh is the Patron of the Pharmaceutical Society of PNG and the Chairman of CPL Foundation. Other notable roles include Directorship at New World Supermarkets and Forest Essentials India, as well as involvement in the Pacific Games 2015. Mahesh's educational background includes executive programs at INSEAD and Stanford Graduate School of Business, along with a Diploma in Pharmacy from Central Institute of Technology in New Zealand.
