John Benedict

John Benedict has a diverse work experience starting from 1997 to present. John began their career at BellSouth Telecommunications, where they held various positions such as Network Vice President and Assistant Vice President - Corporate Project Management. In their roles, they were responsible for overseeing the delivery of telecommunications and data services, managing major corporate reorganizations, and developing a professional project management discipline.

In 2006, John joined CPS Energy and continued to excel in various leadership roles. John served as the Strategic Planning Manager, Director of Resource Planning, Vice President of Business Operations, Vice President & CAO, and most recently, Vice President - Real Estate & Master Planning. Their responsibilities included overseeing facility planning and construction, directing support functions, developing business plans and budgets, and implementing operational management systems.

Throughout their career, John has consistently demonstrated their ability to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance organizational processes.

John Benedict completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Miami from 1968 to 1971. John then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1971 to 1972.
