Alan Jones MCIPR is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and media relations. Currently serving as Senior Press Officer at the Crown Prosecution Service since April 2019, Alan previously held the role of Interim Head of UK News at CAFOD, where responsibilities included managing media communications related to policy, campaigning, and advocacy. Alan's career also includes significant positions at the National Association of Local Councils as Head of Communications, and various editorial and public relations roles across notable organizations such as Education Equipment, the Financial Times, The Big Issue, and the Bishop of London. Alan holds a Master's degree in Political Economy from Middlesex University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the University of Westminster, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics with Sociology from the University of Plymouth.
