Alexis Boddy is a legal trainee barrister at the Crown Prosecution Service since October 2025. Previously, Alexis served as a digital copywriter for the Refugee Council and a researcher for The Duty Legacy, both spanning from August 2024 to September 2025. From December 2013 to September 2025, Alexis was self-employed as a writer and held editorial positions at JURIST between October 2023 and March 2025. Additional experience includes a partnership and digital marketing coordinator role at Refugee Action Kingston and volunteer advice assistant duties, alongside paralegal work focused on researching Imprisonment for Public Protection sentences from June 2023 to January 2024. Earlier roles at King & Allen ranged from general manager to sales and marketing assistant from December 2017 to July 2023. Academically, Alexis pursued Bar Vocational Studies in Law at City St George’s, University of London and obtained an MA in Law from The University of Law, complemented by a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Kingston University.
