James Crutchley Acma

James Crutchley ACMA, CGMA serves as the Deputy Chief Finance Officer at the Crown Prosecution Service, overseeing Finance, Risk and Assurance, and the Portfolio Office since June 2022. Previously, at the Ministry of Justice UK, James held the roles of Head of Financial Planning and Senior Financial Accountant, where responsibilities included developing the financial strategy and managing relationships with key stakeholders such as HM Treasury. James began a career in financial management through the Civil Service Fast Stream and has experience across various government departments, including the Department for Work and Pensions and UK Shared Business Services Ltd. Academically, James holds an ACMA from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a BSc Hons in Accounting for Management from Aston University, with ongoing studies in Project Leadership and Government Studies.
