Christian Sigl

Christian Sigl is the Founder and CTO of CPTx, a position held since November 2021. Prior to this role, Christian served as a Doctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Munich from December 2017 to November 2021, focusing on the molecular design of artificial DNA nanostructures with applications in virus neutralization, drug delivery, and vaccination. This research involved advanced techniques such as cryogenic electron microscopy and molecular dynamics simulations, and resulted in the receipt of the 'Nano Innovation Award 2021.' Previous experience includes working as a Research Scientist at tilibit nanosystems, contributing to the design and validation of DNA nanostructures. Christian holds a PhD in Physics and completed an M.Sc. in Biophysics, among other academic qualifications from the Technical University of Munich and Queensland University of Technology.
