Mike Turner

Mike Turner has a strong track record of leadership and expertise in the field of quality management and business improvement. Mike is currently serving as the Head of Profession at The Chartered Quality Institute, a position they have held since June 2020. Prior to this, Mike held various roles at The Oakland Group, including Senior Partner, Managing Partner, Chief Executive, and Managing Director, spanning from 2007 to June 2020. In 2016, they were a Founding Member of The Oakland Institute for Business Research and Education, where they contributed to research and strategic partnerships with universities and organizations. Mike also served as Managing Partner at Oakland Consulting LLP from 2012 to June 2020 and as Chief Executive at Oakland Consulting plc from 2011 to 2016.

Mike Turner began their education at Watford Grammar School for Boys in 1970, where they completed their studies in 1971. Mike then attended St Albans Boys Grammar School from 1971 to 1977. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Nottingham from 1977 to 1980. Later on, Mike went on to further their education at Durham University Business School, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from 2004 to 2007.
