James Munnelly is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at CR2 since August 2022, James is focused on banking and payments innovation in the Middle East and Africa. As the Founder and CMO of Tensai Global since September 2019, James has been dedicated to helping organizations grow with purpose. Previous positions include Head of Marketing at the Bank of Ireland Group from December 2012 to April 2019, where James managed significant marketing strategies for Ireland's largest independent retail bank. Additional experience includes leadership roles at New Ireland Assurance and Bank of Ireland, along with contributions to marketing strategies for Waterford Wedgwood. Academically, James holds a Master of Science in Digital Marketing from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Trinity College Dublin, supplemented by an Executive Leadership Programme at THNK School of Leadership.
