Sam Goodson

Sam Goodson has extensive work experience in various roles related to human resources and project management. Sam currently holds the position of Senior Director HR Services at Cracker Barrel, where they have been since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at NGA Human Resources as the North America PMO Leader and Senior Project Manager HCM from 2013 to 2016. Before that, Sam worked at The Home Depot in several senior management roles from 1999 to 2013, including Sr. Manager HR Business Liaison, Sr. Manager HR Services, and Information Delivery Manager (HRIS Manager). Sam also has previous experience at Sears Stores as a Senior Technical Consultant (Project Manager), at HBO & Company as an Application Programmer Analyst (Project Manager), and at Sears, Roebuck and Co. as a Systems Manager.

Sam Goodson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Workday Basics and Workday Beyond Basics from Workday in 2023, Leading Innovative Change from UC Berkeley Executive Education in 2022, and Six Sigma Green Belt from The Home Depot in 2005.
