Richard Counihan

Richard Counihan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Richard most recently worked at Crackle as the Senior Vice President. Prior to that, they were the Vice President Finance at Chicken Soup for the Soul Television Group. Richard also served as the Vice President, Finance and Accounting at Sonar Entertainment for six years. Richard held the position of Director - Finance and Planning at Endemol Shine North America for three years, where they played a key role in producing and distributing television and digital content. Richard's earlier experience includes roles at Fairfax Media, ESAB Holdings Limited, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they gained expertise in finance, project management, and integration.

Richard Counihan has a strong educational background in accounting, finance, and information systems. Richard obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canterbury between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, they attended Hillcrest High School from 1995 to 1998, where they received an A level bursary. In 2002, Richard completed a Graduate Diploma in Accounting, Finance & Information Systems from the University of Canterbury. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
