Stef van Grieken has a diverse work experience. Stef is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Cradle, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Angel Investor at Operator Exchange starting from May 2011.

Stef also has a significant tenure at Google, where they held various roles. From August 2020 to June 2021, they served as a Senior/Group Product Manager. Before that, they worked as a Senior/Group Product Manager - Artificial Intelligence from February 2019 to August 2020. Stef also served as a Product Manager - Google X / Special Projects from October 2016 to August 2020, and as a Product Manager - Automotive from October 2015 to October 2016. Additionally, Stef worked as a Technical Program Manager - Social Impact from February 2014 to October 2015.

In addition to their time at Google, Stef held the position of Chairman of the Board at Open State Foundation from October 2011 to December 2018. Stef was also a Founder in Residence at Startupbootcamp from September 2013 to February 2014.

Stef's earlier experiences include working as a Software Engineering Intern at Google in 2013, where they conducted analysis and deployment of internet measurement tools as part of their graduating research internship for their MSc. Industrial Engineering. Stef also worked as a Policy Advisor at the European Parliament from June 2011 to March 2012.

Stef van Grieken began their education in 2006 at the University of Groningen, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Stef successfully completed this program in 2009. Later, from 2004 to 2012, Stef attended the same university to pursue a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
