Jaron Newton has a strong background in operations and logistics. Jaron started their career as a Volunteer Assistant at WonderLab Museum in 2007 before moving on to Science Applications International Corporation as a GIS Analyst. In 2010, Jaron worked as a Logistics Coordinator/Materials Handler at CACI International Inc. Jaron then joined Americorps VISTA in 2011 as a FIRST role. Jaron's most recent and longest-standing position is with Cradles to Crayons, where they have held several roles including Logistics & Product Acquisition Manager, Operations and Engagement Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Associate Director of Operations, Director of Operations, and currently, Senior Director of Operations since October 2020.
Jaron Newton completed their Masters of Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2006 to 2010 and earned a degree in Geography with a specialization in GIS.
