Karleen Goerke

Karleen “Kari” Goerke is the Director for RN-BSN, RN-MS, and MS Leadership in Nursing Programs at the Loretto Heights School of Nursing at Regis University. Kari has been with Regis University since 2013 where she teaches a variety of leadership courses including healthcare policy, organizational leadership, quality and patient safety, and finance. She is a registered nurse with greater than 30 years of experience.

Before working at Regis University, Kari was in multiple clinical and leadership positions at Swedish Medical Center, serving as the Chief Nursing Officer for the last ten years.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Wyoming, a master’s degree in Nursing Administration from Regis University, and an EdD in Organizational Leadership: Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University. Kari has also served on several non-profit boards.
