Dana Mesic

With more than 20 years of finance experience, Dana Mesic joined Crain Communications in 2014 as Director of Finance and became the Vice President of Finance in July 2022. In her role, Dana oversees all financial activities for the company, including global accounting and consolidation, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivables, billing operations, and financial planning and analysis. She has led her team through multiple systems implementations and streamlined day-to-day operations, while also improving the recruitment and retention of the department and the quality of the work and information they provide to the business.

Dana began her career in auditing with Arthur Andersen, after which she mastered several different disciplines of finance across multiple industries, including food ingredients, telecommunications and clinical research. Dana received her B.S. in accounting from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and lives in Plymouth, MI.
