As a Managing Director in CRA’s Leadership practice, Joe leverages his deep expertise to advise and coach senior leaders in the areas of leadership, relationship building and credibility strengthening. He has been a strategic advisor to a diverse array of entities across Fortune 500 firms, startups, private equity, foundations, non-profits, associations, and academia. This deep exposure to numerous environments provides him a unique foundation from which to offer executive guidance.

He is the author of two talent management focused books – “Where the Jobs Are Now” (McGraw-Hill) and “Without Excuses: Unleash the Power of Diversity to Build Your Business” (St. Martin’s Press). He has also provided strategic insights through numerous broadcast and print outlets.

A frequent speaker and facilitator with a keen eye on outcomes, Joe delivers rich, engaging content while maintaining the broad attention and focus of each audience. He is well regarded for his ability to respond to unstructured Q&A and to facilitate highly productive interactions.

Joe serves as Professor of Practice, School of Arts, Media and Engineering and Senior Advisor to the Dean for Innovation and Strategy at The Herberger Institute at Arizona State University. He received his B.A. in History from Dickinson College, and he lives on the east coast with his wife and three daughters.
