Orphe Divounguy

Orphe Divounguy is a Senior Economist and Senior Macroeconomist at Zillow and Zillow Home Loans, LLC since June 2022. As the Founder and Executive Advisor at Quantitative Research Group LLC, active since January 2015, Orphe also hosts the podcast "Everyday Economics," providing insights into everyday economic events. Additional roles include writing as a columnist for IFC Review and Crain's Chicago Business, and serving as Chief Economist at Illinois Policy until June 2022. Previous experience encompasses positions as an Economist at The Buckeye Institute, Lecturer of Economic Theory at the University of Portsmouth, and Research Fellow and Teaching Assistant at the University of Southampton. Orphe holds a PhD and MSc in Economics from the University of Southampton, completed in 2014 and 2009, respectively.
