Carly Sevald

Carly Sevald is an experienced educator and diving coach with a comprehensive background in early childhood education and athletics. Currently serving as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher and Diving Coach at Cranbrook Educational Community since August 2013, Carly has developed skills in managing dual meets and judging at various competitive levels. Involvement with the NISCA High School Diving All-American Selection Committee since 2009 includes video editing, judging, and organizing meeting documentation. Previous roles include coaching diving at Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy, working as a Kindergarten/Special Ed Paraprofessional at Ferndale Public Schools, and serving as a nanny. Carly holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Wayne State University, complemented by earlier experience as a Child Caregiver and Gymnastics Instructor at the South Oakland Family YMCA.
