Artist In Residence/head Of Fine Arts Department at Cranbrook Educational Community

Gary Kulak has extensive work experience as an artist and sculptor. Gary served as an Artist in Residence and Head of Fine Arts Department at Cranbrook Educational Community since July 2005. Additionally, they are the President of their self-owned company, Gary Kulak Sculpture LLC, which they founded in January 1974. Through their company, they have been engaged in various art projects and sculpting endeavors.

Gary Kulak obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art, where they studied from 1973 to 1975. Following this, they completed their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in 3-D Design and Sculpture at Hunter College, from 1981 to 1983.
