Noel Dougherty

Noel Dougherty has a diverse work experience in the education field. Noel most recently served as the Head of Upper School at Cranbrook Educational Community starting in 2016. Prior to that, they held the same position at The Out-of-Door Academy from 2012 to 2016. During their time at The Out-of-Door Academy, Noel also served as the Dean of Students from 2007 to 2012 and an English Teacher from 2005 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked as an English Teacher at Trinity-Pawling School from 2001 to 2005.

Noel Dougherty has a Bachelor of Arts - B.A. degree from Boston College. They also pursued studies in International and Comparative Education at the University of Galway. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Education - M.Ed. degree from Northeastern University. Noel also studied Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography at The School for Field Studies.
